Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense issued a statement stating that “1 PLA aircraft and 3 PLAN boats were identified around Taiwan by 6 a.m. (UTC+8) today.”
The statement continued, “Armed Forces have watched the situation and given orders for CAP planes, Navy ships, and land-based missile systems to respond to these activities.
The declaration was made after Tsai had a brief encounter with McCarthy in California while returning from a tour to Guatemala and Belize, two of Taiwan’s 13 diplomatic allies.

The island’s primary authority for determining China policy, the Mainland Affairs Council in Taipei, charged Beijing on Wednesday with “obstructing” traffic in the Taiwan Strait by conducting on-the-spot checks on cargo and passenger ships.
Chinese maritime authorities had earlier stated, without offering any information, that they were increasing patrols in the waterways separating the island from the Chinese mainland.
According to the MAC, “the Chinese side’s behaviour purposefully worsens cross-strait tensions.” and now the Chinese warships sailing towards taiwan is a threat to taiwans people and its goverment which will induced unneccesary war and blood shed of innocent people.
